Speaking to more than 600 wildfire professionals, Interim US fire chief Vicki Christiansen says last year’s wildfires set records on acreage burned, money spent and manpower employed. If that’s not enough, she’s also fighting for “prescribed burns” and against “workplace cruelty“.
