Springfield, Oregon based manufacturer of suspended wood ceilings for commercial construction laid off 18 positions Oct. 13, the second round of layoffs for the company this year. 9Wood representatives said the company is pivoting to a manufacturing approach called Custom Made Fast, which standardizes the process of balancing design desires with meeting construction timelines.
