On June 30, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) published its post-preliminary determination for the seventh administrative review (AR7) of countervailing duties on certain softwood lumber products from Canada. This determination does not have any impact on current duties or cash deposit rates. In a memo accompanying its preliminary countervailing duty results published on April 8, the DOC said it would issue post-preliminary results once it completed an assessment of other remaining programs. The June 30 determinations now supersede the April 8 determinations. The period of review is January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024.
