The Canadian Wood Council is looking for a Technical Specialist, Codes and Standards – Sustainability to join our Codes & Engineering team in Ottawa. This newly created role will help advance CWC’s work on embodied carbon, life cycle assessment, environmental performance, codes and standards, and sustainable wood construction. The successful candidate will contribute to industry positions, standards development, technical guidance, and initiatives such as the Embodied Carbon Framework for Canadian Wood Construction. We’re looking for a mid-level professional with a strong technical background and experience in areas such as sustainability, LCA, EPDs, standards development, green building, forestry, or the forest products and construction sectors.
