The CELCO Conference 2026, taking place November 9 in London, will feature IKEA’s Anna Palmberg, Material & Innovation Developer – Textiles, discussing the opportunities and challenges of man-made cellulosic fibres (MMCFs) in home furnishings. Her presentation, MMCFs in IKEA Democratic Design – Pros and Cons in Home Furnishings, will explore how cellulose-based materials are evaluated against IKEA’s five design principles: form, function, quality, sustainability and low price. Drawing on more than two decades of textile innovation experience, Palmberg will offer insights into the material selection priorities of a major global customer. Bringing together leaders from across the dissolving wood pulp and cellulose value chain, CELCO 2026 will also examine market trends, supply and demand, sustainability, innovation and emerging opportunities for cellulose-based products. The conference offers pulp producers, fibre manufacturers and other industry participants an opportunity to connect with downstream markets and decision-makers.
