Project Learning Tree (PLT) Canada’s latest My Green Job newsletter highlights several upcoming virtual events aimed at helping students and job seekers build careers in the forest and conservation sector. As spring approaches, PLT Canada is encouraging participants to explore opportunities to strengthen their knowledge of the sector and improve their job readiness. Upcoming events include the Women in Forestry Virtual Summit on March 5, co-hosted by PLT Canada President Christine Leduc. The free online gathering will bring together forestry leaders and professionals to discuss gender equality and diversity in the sector, aligning with the International Women’s Day theme, #GivetoGain. Together, the sessions aim to help participants prepare for employment opportunities in Canada’s forest sector.
