Russ Taylor (Russ Taylor Global) and Kevin Mason (ERA Forest Products Research) are hosting the Global Wood Summit in Vancouver this week. The event opened last night with a cocktail reception at the Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver followed by a reception for the more than 30 speakers and sponsors. Today’s agenda promises to be action packed with presentations focused on world markets for forest products. This morning’s panel will focus on Japan, China and the Southern Hemisphere, followed by Europe/Russia and the United States/Canada.
