Ottawa is expected to unveil a new softwood lumber aid package, addressing concerns by Premier David Eby that B.C. forestry gets less attention than Ontario’s aluminum and steel. Then, it will drop a memorandum of agreement with Alberta on energy policy, and support a pipeline to B.C.’s north coast.
