Woodlots Weekly includes these stories and more:
Timber Pricing Talk: Ministry of Forests staff are planning to attend the Woodlots BC Conference in Parksville on October 3 and talk to woodlots licence holders about timber pricing initiatives. The Ministry is seeking to better understand the operating realities of woodlot licence holders and the woodlot perspective to support policy decision-making. This work is intended to help the Province better understand the unique characteristics and realities of woodlot licensees, including the role woodlots play in supporting local economic and community benefits, providing fibre to local markets, and contributing to resilient forest management practices. We encourage you to participate at the conference and share your experiences and perspectives.
Virtual Option for Conference: We sold out! General registration for the 2026 Woodlots BC Conference and AGM is now closed but you can still register for virtual attendance for $100. If you register virtually, you will receive a link via email a few days prior to the event.
