Walmart’s new Home Office in Bentonville is the largest corporate campus in the nation built using mass timber, a sustainable building material gaining popularity in the U.S. Mercer Mass Timber, a leading manufacturer of sustainable timber building materials and a subsidiary of Mercer International, played a key role in the installation of mass timber panels that began in 2024 is now complete. Mercer Conway supplied a total of 21,000 cubic meters of cross-laminated timber and glue-laminated timber for the project while providing jobs for nearly 60 local employees.
